Murray Family History
Washington Murray was born July 7, 1828 in New York City, New York. He was the son of Colonel James B. Murray and Maria Bronson In 1949 he graduated from Yale and in 1851 he graduated from Harvard Law School. He began his career at Mott and Murray in 1853. Then in 1858 Mott, Murray and Harris and Murray and Mill in 1865.
In April 23, 1856 he married Eliza B. W. Dana of Boston, Mass. He died at the early age of 39 on September 19, 1867.
